NYC START-UP is for executives hard hit by the economy - who are either unemployed or still working, but dissatisfied with the demands and uncertainty of corporate life. These executives are seeking to leave and pursue long-held interests. Most executives are not necessarily clear about how to transfer their skills to small business or entrepreneurial efforts. NYC START-UP is designed to provide these highly-accomplished professionals a choice of alternative careers as well as core information about starting a company. Featuring "THE NEXT BIG IDEA' new business contest. Open to "VIP Registered Delegates," you can submit your business plan for consideration by an expert panel of venture capital experts and entrepreneurs.

Previously, David helped lead corporate development at THINK New Ideas, a publicly traded e-business and interactive advertising firm. He helped grow THINK to more than 500 employees through seven acquisitions in 24 months. Prior to THINK, Kidder founded Net-X, a Web authoring and Internet advertising services company, acquired by Target Vision. Kidder is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and was a recipient of ID Magazine's International Design Award.
